We have witnessed first hand Canon's faithful service even while dealing with difficult and debilitating physical conditions. We can all testify to the manifold fruits of the years of his service here in West Orange at Saint Anthony of Padua Oratory. Canon will continue to serve in Cleveland, helping out at our new Apostolate there, Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Shrine.
Canon Talarico celebrated a Solemn High Mass at 11AM, and preached the homily speaking of faithfulness in the little things like the grain of mustard seed in the Gospel of the day.
After the Mass there was a convivium organised by the faithful in the Social Hall of the Oratory at which Canon introduced the new Rector Canon Adrian Sequeira. The potluck reception ended with musical performances by the children to the delight of all.
