"Gloria laus et honor tibi sit Rex, Christe, Redemptor..." we sung this morning! "Glory, praise and honor to Thee, King, Christ, Redeemer."

Now we're giving praise with Eucharistic Adoration to our Divine King!

(FYI - The chasuble is "Roman Purple" not red as traditionally the vestments for the Palm Procession and Mass were purple.)

May the blessed palms which signify our faith and hope in Christ's victory over sin and death and which also represent our good works be able to be distributed soon to the faithful with a quick cure and end to the COVID-19 pandemic!

Pre-Lent Family Picnic and Hike
After High Mass today, many families of the Oratory met at nearby Catalina State Park for a nice 2.3 mile hike along the beautiful Catalina mountains. The weather was pleasant and the many stream crossings posed a rare experience for us in the desert. It was a great and enjoyable afternoon for all. Deo gratias!

 Father/Son Hike up Picacho Peak
Our pre-Lenten hike up the 3400ft mountain was rained out last week. So we rescheduled for today and were blessed with great weather, breathtaking views, and lots of excitement. Beginning with the Angelus, we climbed up to the summit and enjoyed our lunch, said a decade of the Rosary at the hour of Divine Mercy, and safely climbed back down. Thanks be to God it was an enjoyable day and everyone made it back safely.
