On January 19th, in union with all the faithful of the Institute across the country and many Institute faithful marching in our nation’s capital, the faithful of St. Gianna Oratory sought to pray for an end to abortion and to make reparation for the sins of murder. Following our 8:00am Low Mass, we had a Eucharistic Holy Hour of Reparation praying to the Eucharistic and Sacred Heart of Our Lord. Then at about 10:45am we joined other Tucson Catholics who began at the Cathedral of St. Augustine and we prayed as we marched toward Holy Hope Catholic Cemetery. We prayed the entire Rosary of Our Lady meditating with passages from Holy Writ and closing with the Litany of the Sacred Heart and the Litany of Our Lady. Then we attended the Rose Ceremony at the cemetery, in which an adult or child born from 1973 to present, carries a rose in memory of all those aborted in that calendar year. May 2019 be the last year we have to pray for an end to legalized abortion! Our Lady of Guadalupe and Patronnes of all the unborn, pray for us and intercede for the unborn!
