Tradition 4 Tomorrow California
"Oh Lord, provide us a suitable location where we can worship you!"
Our Goal
To establish a permanent home in the greater Bay Area, nurturing the spiritual lives of faithful Catholics who are drawn to the Traditional Latin Mass, and supporting the Institute in fulfilling its mission History, our goal is also to preserve the rich and beautiful Latin Mass and its traditions that has survived and flourished throughout the ages.
We need your help!
Monthly operational expenses for the Oratory chapel and clergy residence are approximately $25,000. Yet, on top of these basic monthly costs, the Oratory needs to continue growing our Development Fund for the eventual purchase of a building in the Bay Area.
Additionally, the rising cost of living and high inflation has been hitting people in California particularly hard. Thankfully, we have been able to make ends meet, but it is clear that donations from other sources outside of our community are necessary to realize our goal of having a permanent home.
Since October 2021 we have been able to raise over $1,000,000 towards our initial goal of 2 million dollars. Our fundraising efforts have included a Bocce Ball event, Matching Gift Campaign, End-of-Year Appeal and our regular Sunday collections.
The Immaculate Heart of Mary Oratory is grateful for your prayers and monetary support. Mass will be offered on the 22nd of every month for the intentions of our donors. May God bless you for your generosity!

Our History
In 2013, the Immaculate Heart of Mary Oratory was established in the Diocese of San José, California, with Five Wounds Portuguese National Church as our host. As the western-most apostolate in the Institute Family, our small pilgrim church faced significant challenges during the pandemic, which prevented us from holding Masses there since March 2020.
For the past three years, with unwavering faith and a shared goal, the members of the Oratory have celebrated Mass in various locations, including a parking lot, shopping center, school chapel, and our current site in an office complex.
Although the task of finding a permanent location may seem daunting, we trust that God sees our efforts and will bless them in His good time. “For with God nothing will be impossible.” (Luke 1:37) Let us unite in hope and trust in God’s Providence as we move forward. “In the End, My Immaculate Heart will Triumph,” Our Lady of Fatima.
