Friday Stations of the Cross & Evening Mass

A venerable devotion during Lent is the Via Crucis or Way of the Cross.  It is a great means to meditate on the Passion and death of Our Lord.

Stations will be held at 6:30 p.m. on the Fridays of Lent, followed by Holy Mass.

On Good Friday, April 2nd, Stations will be held at 12 noon.

Also, the faithful may gain a plenary indulgence under the usual conditions by praying the Via Crucis.  This may  be done privately or during public devotions (in which case, only one person needs to go from station to station).  No specific prayers are prescribed, just meditation on the sufferings of Christ.
