The annual Pentecost pilgrimage to Holy Hill took place on Saturday, June 7. Pilgrims, including Canons, Sister Adorers, and faithful from several Institute apostolates gathered for a beautiful Mass at the trail head before embarking on the 4. 5-mile trek through the lovely spring woodlands and fields to the Basilica and National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians at Holy Hill in Hubertus, Wisconsin.

 

 

Once at the base of Holy Hill, pilgrims regrouped to pray the rosary as they walked up the “Station Way” to the St. Therese of Lisieux chapel, where they participated in Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.

 

 

Finally, all returned to the base of the hill for a hearty picnic. This beautiful pilgrimage is a “Guardian Angel” chapter and participates in the spiritual blessings of the Chartres pilgrimage in France on the same weekend. Many thanks to all who planned and participated in this fine day.
