On Sunday, July 16, Canon Jacob Wells, ordained in April of this year, celebrated his First Mass at his home apostolate of St. Margaret Mary Church in Oakland, California. 

 

 

Present and helping at this momentous occasion were Canon Matthew Talarico, Provincial Superior; Canon Benjamin Norman, chaplain of the Oakland apostolate, as well as several Institute seminarians from all over California who travelled to Oakland to assist.

 

 

 

  

Canon Wells gave his first blessings to the faithful after Mass. A festive reception followed in the Fr. Kozina Hall of the church.
