On Sunday, November 17, His Grace Archbishop Allen Vigneron conferred the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Extraordinary Form to eleven youth and adult converts at St. Joseph Oratory in Detroit. In his sermon, the Archbishop encouraged the confirmandi that strengthened by the Holy Spirit, they were now sent on mission as soldiers of Jesus Christ to advance the kingdom of Christ the King. Following the confirmation ceremony, Canon Matthew Talarico, United States Provincial for the Institute of Christ the King, offered the Solemn High Mass. Then all enjoyed a celebratory reception in the Social Hall.
