Standing for the most vulnerable and voiceless victims of sinful selfishness of men among us, the Bay Area apostolates of the Institute of Christ the King from San Jose and Oakland joined together in solidarity for this essential cause of the sacredness of life.
The rally opened with our beloved Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of the Archdiocese of San Francisco leading us in prayer and saying, “The heavens are shedding tears of joy to see all of you here standing for life!” Several speakers gave their heartful and powerful voices to defend the sacredness of human life and to encourage the crowds. By the end of the rally, the rain had ended and we departed to walk along Market Street. With the banner in front to lead us along the way, the faithful from both apostolates prayed the entire Holy Rosary led by Canon Raphael Ueda from San Jose, CA and Father Michael Kowalewski from Tucson, AZ.
Thousands filled Market Street as far as the eye could see as they walked and witnessed for true love and hope in the midst of this liberal city, San Francisco!
May God continue to protect and guide his people so that the culture of life will flourish again!!!
