With the goal in mind to have a church for the Institute of Christ the King in the South Bay Area, we had again the year end matching campaign. Last year our little Oratory raised a total of $78,500. This year with the generous donation of$ 50,0000 for this matching campaign, we kicked off this effort on the first Sunday of December. With the tremendous generosity of our loyal faithful, we raised a total of $170,988 this year! Even though Silicon Valley continues to grow more expensive, little by little obtaining our own church is becoming a reality.
God has called us to live in this place at this time and be a part of the glorious work of building up His Church. As St. Francis was called to rebuild and renew the Church in his time, we are being called here and now to also participate in this endeavor which would be facilitated by having a permanent home. Let us move forward with complete confidence that we are doing the Holy Will of God. He will protect us and answer our prayers.
