A little more than a week after our open house last month, we began our formal meetings with Barrientos Design and Consulting to draft a complete blue print for the renovations of Phase 1. The team from Barrientos has worked diligently getting accurate measurements, locations for utility access, confirming code regulations, and drafting proposal plans to give a full representation of how the North wing will be transformed. Additionally, they have reached out to several construction companies to gauge interest and availability in taking on this beautiful work. 

     Several representatives of the Institute of Christ the King are meeting with the team from Barrientos on a biweekly basis to ensure this project is moving with the vision and timetable of the Institute. As a reminder, the completion Phase 1 will enable the Sacred Heart Retreat Center to begin hosting small retreats of approximately 20 people. It includes retreat bedrooms and bathrooms, a beautiful chapel, clergy residence, a large conference room, the refectory, small meeting areas, the kitchen, office spaces, and the reception area. 

     Phase 1 is a large endeavor and requires much support from you. Through your donations and prayers, we are able to keep moving closer to having the Sacred Heart Retreat Center available for you.
