Most Precious Blood of Jesus March for Life Bus #2.
Our first bus is now full. However we have time to fill bus #2!!!
We need to know if we have enough people to get a second bus. Please reserve your place on the second bus by emailing your name and cell phone number to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Please send a check for $30 per seat to Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish 3250 California Avenue. On memo write "2nd bus attendee". Once we have enough people to reserve a second bus we will email you a link to register with the Institute of Christ the King's registration portal.
Should we not get enough people for a second bus, your payment will be returned and we will do our best to connect you with another local group's bus. However, it is still early and there is a great chance we will be able to fill the 2nd bus. The March for Life Bus(es) will leave Most Precious Blood of Jesus Formation and Community Center on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 6:00 am sharp. Canon John O'Connor will celebrate Mass here at MPBOJ beginning at 4:45 am. All who attend will be expected to exit the church immediately after Mass as the church will be locked and the bus will be loaded at 5:45 am. Canon O'Connor will be our spiritual guide and we will rendezvous with Canon Commins and the groups from Chicago and St. Louis in Washington, D.C..
We will stop near Breezewood on the way down for a short pit stop. Please bring food and drinks for breakfast and lunch and money for the 30-minute dinner stop on the way home. We will not be stopping at the Basilica this year since the Mass will be said in the morning and we can try to get back a little earlier.
Students under 18 must have a parent or a parent-designated responsible adult to chaperone their student. If you cannot go but would like to help defray the costs for others, please consider making a donation to sponsor others to come on this important and life affirming pilgrimage. A reception committee is also being formed to welcome the Canon Commins Group on Saturday, January 25, who will celebrate Noon Mass at MPBOJ. We would like people to help us to provide light sandwiches, soup, and salad, coffee, and tea and light desserts for all who would like to meet and mingle with our 110 fellow Institute brothers and sisters before they head west and return home.
Seats will be reserved only with reply email and fee of $30/seat. If you would like to go but cannot afford the bus, still register now. There may be a sponsor for you!
