Most likely the problem is that emails from the parish are being sent into your "Spam" folder by your email client. The page linked below gives clear instructions on how to remedy that, by adding "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it." to your "contact list" or "trusted senders list" on various email systems:
