There is an Advent tradition of celebrating an early morning Mass by candlelight in honor of Our Lady. This year for the first time, we had the opportunity to live out this tradition with a Rorate Mass. “Rorate” comes from the Introit of the votive Mass of Our Lady during Advent.
On the Feast of All Saints 2019, Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish was privileged to witness a Pontifical Mass celebrated by Bishop Athanasius Schneider. Mass was attended by an overflow crowd exceeding 850.

After 25 years at St. Boniface Church on East Street, the end of June 2019 saw the Latin Mass in the Diocese of Pittsburgh move to a new, permanent home.
On Thursday, May 30, 2019, Msgr. Gilles Wach made his first visit to Pittsburgh for the Feast of the Ascension. The Solemn Mass that evening was celebrated at Risen Lord Church, the future home of Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish.
