A New Shepherd!

The faithful at St. Margaret Mary heartily welcome Fr. Moreau as their new shepherd on September 7, 2008.

Message from Father Jean-Marie Moreau:

DEAR FRIENDS!

My arrival here at St. Margaret Mary Parish was an occasion of great joy and hope. I come here as a member of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest to continue the outstanding work of Fr. Wiener who has laid the foundations for an even greater apostolate in the Bay Area. Aware of our weakness and littleness we rely on the graces that flow from the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross renewed on the altar in each and every Mass. Our work is nothing but our sanctification and the salvation of souls. As our Blessed Lord can not save us without our own efforts, a shepherd of souls-the priest- thirsts for the collaboration and good will, docility and help of his sheep.

Your efforts and support for this apostolate will be greatly rewarding - God will not be outdone in generosity. Please be patient with me and if you don't understand something, please have the kindness and simplicity to come to me, so that we may walk together towards our eternal destiny which is Heaven "in truth and charity".

I look forward to getting to know each of you very soon trusting in the intercession of Our Blessed Mother, Our Lady of the Holy Rosary and of Perpetual Help and of St. Margaret Mary and St. Francis de Sales, St. Benedict and St. Thomas, the patron saints of our dear Institute.

Thank you for your warm welcome, your trust and your prayers.

May God bless you
