Our dear Canon Meney will be leaving the Oakland Apostolate and be re-assigned to the Diocese of Port Louis on the Island of Mauritius. His last Sunday at St. Margaret Mary will be on October 6, 2019. Canon Michael Wiener, founder of the Oakland apostolate will be introduced as the next rector at St. Margaret Mary. In order to celebrate this changes, our Provincial Superior to the United States, Canon Matthew Talarico, is coming to Oakland. A Solemn High Mass will be celebrated at 12:30PM with Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of the Archdiocese of San Francisco being present, followed by a grand reception at the Father Kozina Hall.
