Stations of the Cross after the 6 pm Mass on Fridays of Lent, beginning February 24.
 
Adoration after the 6 pm Mass on Wednesdays of Lent, beginning March 1.
 
First Friday of March (March 3): Confessions at 4:15 pm, Stations of the Cross at 5 pm, and First Friday Devotions after the 6 pm Mass.
 
First Friday of April (April 7): Good Friday Liturgy only (time TBD), no Stations or First Friday Devotions.

The Catholic Institute of Sacred Music Lecture - Sunday, March 19
(5pm, at St. Patrick’s Seminary in Menlo Park, in Sancta Maria Hall.) The title of the lecture is “The Mass: Essence & Foundation of Western Civilization,” given by His Grace, Salvatore J. Forty Hours Devotion at St. Margaret Mary Church
Thursday, March 30, 6pm - Saturday, April 1, 10am
A sign-up sheet for Adoration hours is available in the church vestibule. Confessions will be heard on Thursday evening (March 30) from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. (See flyer in attachments.)
 
40 Days For Life Campaign - February 22 - April 2
40 Days for Life is 40-day campaign (February 22 - April 2) that aims to protect babies and mothers locally through prayer, fasting, community outreach, and peaceful all-day vigil in front of abortion businesses. For local events in Concord and Walnut Creek, please refer to the flyer in attachments.

First Communion - Sunday, May 7
Next year's First Communions are scheduled for Sunday, May 7, 2023; the first Sunday of the month. The First Communion Catechism class takes place every Wednesday at 4pm. For more information, please contact Canon Norman: This email address is being protected from spambots. Catechism Classes - weekly
The weekly adult and youth catechism classes continue in an online format for the time being. Please contact Canon Norman or Lisa Caputi (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) to request the Zoom link.
Youth Class: Tuesdays at 4:00pm  
Adult Class: Saturdays, at 2:30pm (occasional cancellation may occur)
Prospective Catholics: bi-monthly; please contact Canon for class times
First Communion Class: Wednesdays at 4:00 pm
 
Sunday Reception - weekly
We will have our usual Sunday Reception after the 12:30 Mass this Sunday. It will be an opportunity to meet your fellow parishioners and enjoy the Lord's Day during Lent. Everyone is welcome!

The Marian hymn of the season of Septuagesima and of Lent is Ave Regina Caelorum, which is chanted until the beginning of Paschaltide. Copies of the music will be available at church; a digital copy is attached below.
