On Monday, July 4, ten first-year seminarians (including five Americans) and one oblate received the cassock from the Institute's Prior General, Monsignor Gilles Wach in the beautiful Florentine Church of Saints Michael and Gaetano.

On Ember Saturday in the Octave of Pentecost, June 18, His Grace, the Most Reverend Jerome E. Listecki, Archbishop of Milwaukee, conferred the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Extraordinary Form on nearly fifty candidates at St. Stanislaus Oratory.
From the four corners of the United States dozens of friends of the Institute came to the Shrine of Christ the King in Chicago for the national retreat of the lay Society of the Sacred Heart.
On May 28-29, 2011, the Institute's superiors, canons, seminarians, and sisters made a pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, with His Eminence Raymond Cardinal Burke, Prefect of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura.
Over five hundred faithful and friends of the Institute participated in a pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Our Lady Help of Christians at the Basilica of Holy Hill near Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Saturday, May 28.
Canon Law stipulates that every priest must make an annual retreat to renew his interior life. This year was, however, the first time that all the priests of the American province of the Institute made their annual retreat together. And their retreat master was none other than our founder and Prior General, Monsignor Gilles Wach.
In the International Seminary's Chapel of the Immaculate Conception on Sunday, January 30, Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke, Prefect of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura, ordained three men to the holy diaconate: two from France and one from Spain.
On January 29, feast of Saint Francis de Sales, Institute superiors, canons, and seminarians, as well as the Sisters Adorers of the Royal Heart of Jesus, made a pilgrimage to Treviso, Italy, where the heart of Saint Francis de Sales is enshrined and venerated in a beautiful side altar of the convent church of the Visitation Sisters.
