Our Prior General, Monsignor Gilles Wach came to visit St. Stanislaus on June 1st and 2nd for the Solemnity of Corpus Christi. He was accompanied by Canon Mora, Superior of the Seminary of Gricigliano and by Canon Matthew Talarico, Substitute of the Provincial.

During the Sunday Mass, Monsignor Wach gave a beautiful sermon about St. Thomas Aquinas, mentor of spiritual life and herald of the Holy Eucharist. After the Solemn High Mass, the traditional procession of the Blessed Sacrament occurred in a climate of profound piety. Many children tossed rose petals to offer Jesus a carpet of glory.

A reception took place afterward in the Parish Hall and allowed each one of us to meet Monsignor Wach, who could also visit and observe the recent works of restoration and repair made in the church and in the rectory. We look forward to your next visit, Monsignor!
