The St. Stanislaus Pentecost Pilgrimage is much more than just a walk to the Holy Hill Basilica.  Our pilgrimage has occurred for the past 5 years on the eve of Pentecost - the same day that over 14,000 pilgrims from around the world begin the Chartres Pilgrimage - a 3 day/62-mile walking pilgrimage from Paris to Chartres, France.  Walking in France this year, carrying your prayers, will be Canon Benoit Jayr, Abbe George Baird, and many other Institute apostolate members. 

 

 

St. Stanislaus Oratory is also part of the Guardian Angel Chapter (group) of the Chartres Pilgrimage.  This Chapter is for those that cannot be present for the Chartres Pilgrimage in France but want to be present spiritually praying for the marching pilgrims.“…the prayers and sacrifices done by the “Guardian Angels”, wherever they are and united to God in charity, will merit graces for the pilgrims, while the prayers and sacrifices done by the walkers will merit graces for the “Guardian Angels.”  That reciprocity makes the “Guardian Angels” real pilgrims of the Chartres pilgrimage.
