It is with gratitude that we share the news that Canon Henrique Fragelli, on November 21 received the new lungs he needed to continue his long and arduous recovery from Covid.  His surgeon and medical staff were very encouraged by the success of 10-hour operation, and there have been no signs of rejection. Canon is now able to sit up and begin to regain muscle strength, working with physical therapists.  On December 2, he finally left the intensive care unit!

 

 

Canon’s family made a pilgrimage to Padua, Italy, in August, praying for his recovery.  Providentially, his new lung came from Padua!  And his surgery was completed on the Feast of Christ the King!   To God be all praise for His mercies in hearing our prayers.
