On Sunday, October 31, the Feast of Christ the King, His Grace Archbishop Allen Vigneron conferred the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Extraordinary Form to eighteen youth and adult converts at St. Joseph Shrine in Detroit.
In his sermon, the Archbishop encouraged the confirmandi that were strengthened by the Holy Spirit, saying that they were now sent on mission as soldiers of Jesus Christ to reclaim the world for Christ the King each in their own place of action, and in their duties.
Following the confirmation ceremony, a High Mass was celebrated. Then all enjoyed a celebratory reception in the Social Hall.
