Several Canons of the Institute and a few friends surprised Canon Benoit Jayr, Rector of St. Stanislaus Oratory, Milwaukee, with a party on the occasion of his 60th birthday on Thursday, November 16.
Canon Matthew Talarico, Provincial Superior, Canon Aaron Huberfeld, Vice Provincial, were joined by Canon Erwan Josseaume, Canon Luke Zignego, Canon Andrew Todd, Canon David Le, Abbe George and Abbe Jeffrey in offering a priceless gift: a 1666 volume of the Introduction to the Devout Life by St. Francis de Sales.
Refreshments, including a beautiful cake adorned with French flags, were enjoyed as guests celebrated our beloved Canon Jayr on his special day.
