Young Boys Camp, Wausau WI: Photo Album (2)

This year again, our younger boys camp was another very successful event for the Institute of Christ the King. Hosted by the generous Ryan family, in Wausau, WI, we were blessed with 85 young boys, ages 10 to 14 from many different states: Nebraska, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota, Indiana, Ohio and Kansas.

Three canons were present to give conferences, to hear confessions, to offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and to answer all kind of questions asked by the campers. Divine providence blessed the camp with good weather, wonderful friendships, and edifying counselors!
Each day was divided into several parts: moments of prayers such as the Mass, the Rosary, Stations of the Cross… Moments for fun, flag war, water park, bowling, archery... moments of formation, conferences, Q&A...

This year's camp was under the patronage of Saint Dominic Savio, the great Saint for a great camp! Who better a model of virtue for young boys ages 10 to 14 years old when with think that Saint Dominic Savio died at the age of 14!

Thank you for your generous help, and we hope to see you again next year!

“Run, jump, have all the fun you want at the right time, but, for heaven’s sake, do not commit sin!”

St. Philip Neri.
