Pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help

Our annual pilgrimage to Robinsonville will be Saturday, October 30, 2010. See photos of the 2005 Pilgrimage.

The purpose of this pilgrimage is to honor Jesus Christ, our King; and the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, our Queen; by making Reparation for immoral laws and practices; and in continued support of Our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI; and in gratitude for the restoration of the Latin Liturgical Tradition.

The event will begin at 8:45 AM with Holy Mass (according to the Missal of 1962) at St. Joseph's Oratory.

We will then meet at Holy Cross Catholic Church by about 10:30 AM at Bay Settlement (2009 Bay Settlement Road). There are shuttle vehicles available during and after the entire pilgrimage. Parking for the Pilgrims in Holy Cross School parking lot, across the street from the Church. Directions from St. Joseph’s Oratory: I-43 to Exit 185 onto WI-54 E/WI-57 N. toward Sturgeon Bay/Algoma; to Holy Cross Catholic Church on Bay Settlement Rd.

This will begin an eight mile procession which commemorates Adele Brice, who, on October 9, 1859, spoke with “The Queen of Heaven” when returning from hearing Mass at Bay Settlement.

There will be a short break at Anna's House Elderly Home, County Rd. K (located farther on WI-54 E/WI-57, turn right on County Rd. K. Watch for the "Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help" sign.) Approximate arrival time at Anna’s House Elderly Home for a break and for those wishing to make a shorter; 3 mile pilgrimage, are welcome to join at 1:00 p.m. The Pilgrimage will resume at 1:15 p.m. and reach the Shrine at 2:00 p.m. Benediction will take place in the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help. A lunch room with tables and coffee are available after Benediction.

Please wear modest clothing out of respect for Our Lord and Our Lady.
