Testimonies from last year:
Girls camp is such a unique experience. I have been participating in the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest girls’ camp for eight years, and each year has been special in so many ways. Every year there are innumerable friendships made and rekindled, it is truly incredible! I love the two-fold aspect of camp: bonding with your teammates doing all the fun activities and also having the opportunity to grow spiritually throughout the week with the help of daily Mass, the sacraments, and spiritual instruction given by the wonderful priests and, finally, the sisters! I look forward to being a counselor at camp and would not hesitate to encourage girls of any age to attend the camp. May God reward those who generously dedicate so much time and effort to this important experience in the lives of so many young ladies!
-JoAnna Kanzenbach, Camper
Girls camp was a great experience. Firstly, the Faith was the center of all we did, so every day began with Mass and ended with night prayers around the fire. The camaraderie and friendships grew continuously from the first day of camp to the last, and even though a healthy competitiveness and intensity permeated the games and competitions, all the girls showed incredible team spirit for their own teams and others. It was wonderful to witness and be a part of, and I hope it continues to grow!
