I have attended the Institute of Christ the King girls camp for six years, this year being my first as a counselor! These camps have always meant a lot to me and I wanted to give back to them by helping out as a counselor. The camps provide wonderful spiritual talks given by the priests and by the Sister Adorers, mass as the beginning of each day, fun, healthy competitive games, rosary walks in the evening, campfires every night and many more activities. These camps give catholic youth opportunities for making new friends, trying new things, growing in deeper spiritual life, and all while having fun! I’m so grateful to the Institute for all the work they’ve invested into these camps to make them happen! I will continue to volunteer for these camps for a long time to come!
