On November 19, clergy and numerous faithful at St. Stanislaus Oratory in Milwaukee joyfully celebrated the 150th anniversary of the building of the church. They offered gratitude to Almighty God for the abundant graces He has bestowed upon the Catholics of Milwaukee over the past 150 years through this beautiful church.

 

 

 

This magnificent church, erected in 1872, has undergone a complete restoration over the past 10 years under the supervision of the Institute of Christ the King, Sovereign Priest.

 

 

 

 

Solemn Vespers were officiated by Canon Matthew Talarico, Provincial Superior. A Te Deum of Thanksgiving was sung, followed by Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.

 

 

 

 

Immediately following the services in the Church, the celebration continued with entertainment by a wonderful Polish dance troupe in the parish hall.  A feast of Polish treats and delicacies was enjoyed by all.
